Properly installed patterns provide an individual touch to your projects and allow pavers to interlock installation grids increasing stability and durability.

Installation grids should be interlocked together by pavers. Lay out the installation grids following the instructions below for your chosen pattern.
Herringbone
The most popular and easiest to install pattern.
- Lay out installation grids as illustrated below
- Begin installing pavers at the starting corner
- Pavers should interlock installation grids
- Trim pavers around project border as illustrated below
Basketweave
This is the simplest installation method for a basketweave pattern, but it will require extra installation grids. See the "Advanced Basketweave" pattern below to learn a method that does not require additional installation grids.

Use the proper cutting equipment
Advanced Basketweave
Does not require extra installation grids.

Soldier Course with Herringbone
How to install a curved soldier course bordering a herringbone pattern.
- Lay out installation grids as illustrated below
- Begin installing herringbone pavers interior to the desired soldier course border
- Pavers should interlock installation grids
- Cut curve in herringbone pavers either indivually or at once using a jigsaw (Watch cutting videos)
- Remove the legs from soldier course pavers installed along the cruve using a jigsaw (Watch cutting videos)
- Soldier course pavers installed along the curve will sit on top of the installation grids and not lock into place
- Solder course pavers not installed along the curve do not require removing their legs and can be placed directly into the installation grid
